Playland for Dogs?
Dog lovers love to give their dogs a chance to run and play with their owners and withother dogs without off leash. With the help of Councilwoman Joyce Foster, a recent citizen committee is working to find a safe location in the city as a test site to see if we can provide dogs and their owners with a "dog run" area. One area that has been suggested as a possibility to consider is the "detention pond" area at Monaco and Iliff. We've spoken with a few dog owners who live near the site and they seem to like the idea. Councilwoman Foster would like to hear from others who live in the Iliff/Monaco vicinity to see if this site should be considered for a pilot project. Give her office a call at 640-8074.
