Hello,
I am wanting to reserve a picnic table for June 5th. I would like to reserve the Picnic area on Franklin and Virginia. How would I go about reserving this area? Would I need to put down a deposit to save this date and location? Is it 51.00 total for the day or per hour? Please give me some more information so I can go ahead and Reserve this space. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon and have a wonderful day!
Hi Breanna, you’ll want to email jim.johnson@denvergov.org to arrange the rental. You can also call 720-913-0766 to learn how to rent one of these facilities.
Thanks!
Hello, I recently visited Wash Park and wondered if you could rent the Volleyball nets or you had to bring them. If you can rent them then where are they found and what is the price? Thanks.
Dana, these nets are personal and brought in by the individual users. Sorry, no volley ball rentals.
Thanks!
Hi, I was wondering if any of your picnic rental sites had electricity? If not are generators allowed if you have reserved that site?
Thanks.
Teressa, There are no sites with Electricity and I believe you can bring a generator if you want to bring one. If you have more than 25 people, you do need a permit and you can get one here.
I cannot view any of the washpark rental information. I wanted to know if there was a shelter house at the park where you can host short meetings and if this was rentable/cost?
Thanks!
I was wondering about the “Special Occasion permits require insurance and may also require trash and/or sanitary services agreements.” statement. Does this mean that for weddings, I would need to have insurance? If so what sort of insurance do you require?
Thank you for your time.

Hi Jessie, there’s really not a small shelter to rent out. There’s the Boat house, but it’s closed now for a while. There are lots of picnic tables you could use too that are free for under 25 people. That information is here: http://www.washpark.com/info/washpark-facility-rental-rates/
Thanks!
Hello, can you please tell me how much it costs to rent a paddle boat for the lake? Can people bring their own pontoon boats? Thank you, Celia
Hi Celia, thanks for contacting us! You can rent paddle boats from a third party that sets up at Washington Park on weekends when the weather is good. You can learn more here:
http://www.wheelfunrentals.com/
Thanks so much for your quick reply. I have one more question, can we bring our own pontoon boat to the lake at Wash Park? Thanks! Celia
Hello, Are personal owned inflatable boats(pontoon boats) allowed on the Washington Park lakes? Thank you, Celia
I am interested if it is possible to have a wedding with tents set up in the park and how much something like that would cost. Aprox. 200 people
Thank you
