Washington Park Recreation Center

The WashPark Rec Center is the busiest center of all the Denver Recreation Centers. The center offers numerous classes and programs for all ages, and participants can come and work out before or after work or school. Denver Recreation Memberships

We offer an array of options to meet the unique needs of our customers including annual memberships and visit passes.  In addition, discounts are on hand for families, loyal customers, groups, and corporate accounts.Annual memberships and visit passes are available at three different levels, regional, local, and neighborhood. Visit passes are packaged as 30-visit, 15-visit, or single visit options. Memberships and visit passes give you full access to facility amenities, including 13 indoor and 16 outdoor swimming pools, plus over 200 DPR fitness classes each week!

Denver Recreation Membership Packages

There are a total of 27 Denver recreation centers in which you can access with your membership or visit pass. Recreation centers are comprised of 7 regional centers, 11 local centers, and 9 neighborhood centers.

Depending on the membership packages you choose, access to some recreation centers will be included with your membership, while others may require an additional fee.

Discounted Memberships

Family Memberships (50% discount)
This discount can be applied to memberships, only, not visit passes. Qualification requires that family members live in the same household, memberships are purchased all together, and membership levels are all the same. One family member purchasing the most expensive membership must pay full price. Additional family members will receive a 50% discount on each of their memberships.

Loyal Customers (10% discount)
The loyalty discount is available for customers who had a membership at any level during the previous calendar year and would like to purchase, or renew, a ‘regional membership’ this year.

Group Memberships (25% discount)

The Recreation Division of Denver Parks & Recreation (DPR) offers a variety of recreation center membership and price options to meet the needs of City and County of Denver (CCD) employees, Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) employees, local businesses, and service providers.

City Employee Payroll Deduction

  • Must be an employee of the City and County of Denver
  • Family memberships purchased must be for individuals in the employee’s household
  • Proof of Denver residency is required to receive resident rates for family memberships
  • Requires annual enrollment at the Citywide Payroll office

DHHA (Denver Health & Hospital Authority) Employee Payroll Deduction

  • Must be a benefits eligible employee of the Denver Health and Hospital Authority
  • Family memberships purchased must be for individuals in the employee’s household
  • Proof of Denver residency is required to receive resident rates for family memberships
  • Requires annual enrollment at the Denver Health Benefits office

Corporate Employees

  • Must be a Denver based company
  • Initiate the enrollment with five employees with current new or renewed memberships
  • Proof of employment
  • Photo Identification
  • Must enroll annually at Recreation Administration

Client Services Memberships

  • Organizations must be Denver based or provide services to Denver residents
  • Memberships must be for the clients of an organization
  • Non-Profit organizations must provide proof of 501(c)3 or government agency status
  • Must enroll annually at Recreation Administration

  • Heading north on I-25: Exit northbound on Downing, east on Virginia, south on Franklin to Kentucky, enter park.
  • Heading south on I-25: Exit on Eastbound Alameda Avenue; follow “west” directions directly below.
  • Coming from the west: Eastbound Alameda Avenue, past Downing to Franklin (right lane must exit at Franklin); south to Kentucky, enter park.
  • Coming from the east: Colorado Blvd to Exposition (past University), west to Franklin, south to Kentucky, enter park.
